Buddy Basket Collection to Aid Veterans & Families April 1 – 30

April is Community Banking Month, and we also celebrate Power of Community Week (April 17-22). Let’s support our communities and make a difference!

We are hosting a Buddy Basket drive for veterans throughout the month of April. Buddy Baskets are laundry baskets filled with common household goods that are given to homeless veterans as they move to transitional or permanent housing. NEW this year, we will also be collecting items for children of veterans. The Buddy Baskets and children’s items will be given to the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative (MHVI) for distribution.

Wisconsin Bankers Association Power of Community Week

During the week of April 17-22, 2023, the sixth Annual Wisconsin Bankers Association Power of Community Week campaign will bring together member banks and associate member companies to celebrate our commitment to the communities we serve. During the campaign, participants are encouraged to engage in one or more community service activities. The WBA invites all members to participate in this effort to highlight how much Wisconsin’s banking industry supports the communities in our state.
